Didn't you know?

Dainty Vintage started in 2020...

during the pandemic as Thrifted District Vintage.

Let's go back to 2020.
It's the pandemic, everyone is stuck inside on lockdown.

Kelly (Dainty Vintage's founder) was bored at home trying to focus on her online lectures.

She couldn't go thrifting, which was (and still is) a major part of her life.

So how was she going to fill her time?

She realised she finally had the time learn how to sew.

Yes! Right! Learn how to sew...
& that's when a star was born.

Thrifted District Vintage.

Her little baby, which grew and grew until other priorities took over and she had to give it the side.

Years later, Kelly has gathered all she had learnt from TDV, realised what could have been done better, continued studying the market and that's when Thrifted District Vintage naturally blossomed into Dainty Vintage.

All the while, Kelly had a friend the Universe must have been keeping on her side for a reason.

Lexi.

Lexi had recently found her love for thrifting unique pieces, that elevate her outfits in the most
coquette of ways, as she most dearly loves.

Now, you might be asking,
how did these two actually come together?

It all started from a random thrift date. Then, one day, they decided they are best friends,
and they met everyday ever since.

Until, one day, Lexi decided to ask Kelly about the possibility of joining Dainty Vintage.

And the rest is history. Lexi & Kelly spent months perfecting Dainty Vintage's Business Model.
& With Lexi's Bold Creative Direction, and endless product ideas,

Dainty Vintage is on an unparalleled path of growth.

Bigger, better, bolder.

Kelly and Lexi hope Dainty Vintage can be the tool that empowers those who thrive on the idea of embodying their highest self, through our erray of unique pieces. Some vintage, others sustainably-made.

Dainty Vintage is your home. Here is where you explore and find yourself. Daintiness is not just something you feel or wear with a dress. Kelly is the perfect example of that - with her (super) oversized thrifted Carhartt tees and her daintiest of dainty rings. Then, Lexi is the perfect example of making Dainty work, with her most girly of outfits without it feeling too much.

The most beautiful side of fashion is the art of self-exploration.

Dainty Vintage is here to motivate you to become the truest version of yourself.

It's your time, amore.
